A React.js, Material UI, Firebase & Google OAuth tool for the pour-over obsessives
To aid my recent obsession with the modification pour-over coffee brewing techniques, I created a massively customizable pour over calculator app. Unlike the other available apps online and in the Apple App store, this calculator allows for both equal pour and 4:6 method pouring styles. It allows for adjustable sweetness/acidity ratios on the 4:6 method. It allows for custom bloom times, custom intervals, number of pours and custom bloom weight. It has fields for tracking your coffee info, such as grind size, temperature, finish time, coffee name/origin, rating, and additional notes. The calculator has options to save multiple recipes with unique names for comparison and tracking. The app also features a dark mode. The app uses React.js, Material UI and Google Firebase for its database. This app allows for anonymous login/access for users and Google OAuth Authentication for users who wish to access to recipes across devices also.
